Ecosystem

In its 8.5 million square kilometers, Brazil possesses fantastic landscapes and cultural diversity. Landscapes range from semi-desert to some of the richest biodiversity of the planet; cultures range from Indian tribes to modern generations. Important ecological areas exist such as the Pantanal and Amazon sedimentary basins, the Atlantic Forest and a large marine border. The cultural and landscape variety and the lack of ethnic and border conflicts turn Brazil into a country with great tourist potential, mainly in ecological tourism.
